“When patterns
are broken,
new worlds emerge.”
Jillian is an Acupuncturist and East Asian Medical Practitioner who graduated from the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine in 2013, continuing her studies in osteopathic manual therapy with the Jean Pierre Barral Institute. Through many health challenges growing up, Jillian refuses to accept the standard paradigm which separated mind and body, compartmentalizing medicine into several specialists. Through her internship with SAGE (Standing Against Global Exploitation), Jillian received mentorship in apply alternative medicine to social services to help combat addiction and promote nervous system balancing for recovering victims of trafficking.
Her training at SIEAM provided an alternate view through a combination of traditional Chinese medicine, Japanese meridian therapy and osteopathic medicine. She was inspired by her practitioner, mentor and teacher of the Barral Instutite, Lisa Polec, who utilized visceral manipulation to support shifts of energy in the body to optimize function of the organs through supporting their motility and natural movement.
Although this created an incredible foundation for a career in the healing arts, there was a missing link in the equation. During the Communist Revolution, all of the books and manuscripts about Acupuncture which connected to the metaphysical field around the body, or auric layers, connecting the meridians to the Earth and sky were destroyed. In this way, the traditional adaptation of East Asian medicine appears to distill such a powerful practice down to pharmaceutical grade. Seeing colleagues treating patients multiple times a week was disheartening for Jillian as she sought to support people at a deeper level, empowering her clients on physical, emotional, spiritual and mental levels.
During the 2020 pandemic, Jillian started to become aware of how subtle energy could be influenced by sound, and how the emotional body began to store information in the bioenergetic field from old timelines. Utilizing studies in the Akashic records, holographic sound healing and intuitive guidance, Jillian is able to identify root causes of imbalance in the energetic field that lead to illness, supporting her clients through sound healing, metaphysical support, and unpeeling the layers of the onion to ensure that physical manipulations in the organs influenced by emotions find their resolution.
Jillian continues to study new modalities and ways to support her clients, including Neurological Integrations, a system of applied kinesiology and neurology which is simple, safe and powerful. She facilitates sound journeys to guide clients through their Akashic Records through telehealth, in person, and in groups at retreats and workshops. Jillian produces the Liminal Frequencies Podcast, a show about how we can connect to our unconscious, weaving mythology and astrology into how we approach this current human experience. In her free time she enjoys hiking, surfing, snowboarding, dancing, singing and playing music with her friends, as well as trying to convince her cat Mushroom to leave the acupuncture to her.
